I suffer ptsd and panic attacks when travelling anybody know a good sight for self helt that is free im am ser |
when i trael by car train bus i carry a nip of drink which seems to help this is not normal i know and i want to fly again suggestions please and yes i am under tretment for the ptsd and anxiety etc giving up the medication though as i dont like it i want to be normal again like i used to be helpppppppppppppppppp I have PTSD and I know how hard and painful it is to get through day to day. Stick with therapy. Talk with friends and family. I have to do this periodically with the stuff I deal with at work. The sooner it is dealt with, the easier it is to move on. DON'T GIVE UP! I used to get panic attacks where I use to believe an airplane, car or train was going to crash into me where I was sitting.I took Zyprexa for awhile and it went away.Plus, when I felt them coming on I would remind myself the reality of the statistics of that actually coming true are incredibly low. The worse were when they woke me in the middle of my sleep but as my waking attacks began to decrease so did my sleeping. Remember nothing is going to happen to you. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of Love, and a sound mind.Quote this Scripture. I suffer depression and panic attacks, and like you, for years I thought medication was not for me. But I got so ill over New Year, I had no option. If you want to feel better, then what is one tablet a day if it makes your day go easier. therapy works with ptsd , o know. Its a long road, any quick fix aint gonna work properly. "as i dont like it i want to be normal again "- how many times have i said that |
