I have PTSD and I know how hard and painful it is to get through day to day.

I don't know if this helps but if you click on the link below it will take you to Assist Trauma Care website (in UK). They specialise in helping people with PTSD. You can either contact them via email or telephone their support helpline. They are very good and are always willing to help. Best wishes and I hope it all starts to work out for you soon.

Stick with therapy. Talk with friends and family. I have to do this periodically with the stuff I deal with at work. The sooner it is dealt with, the easier it is to move on. DON'T GIVE UP!

I used to get panic attacks where I use to believe an airplane, car or train was going to crash into me where I was sitting.I took Zyprexa for awhile and it went away.Plus, when I felt them coming on I would remind myself the reality of the statistics of that actually coming true are incredibly low. The worse were when they woke me in the middle of my sleep but as my waking attacks began to decrease so did my sleeping. Remember nothing is going to happen to you.

Everything you need to know is in google or yahoo search.Read the titles that interest you first.

Good luck!

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear;but of power, and of Love, and a sound mind.Quote this Scripture.
It worked for me and It will work for you too.
Get off caffeine and cigarettes.Alcohol is just a band-aid.
If you want to get back to feeling normal get some help.
Just because one medicine didn't work ,don't stop trying to
find one that works for you.I took pazil for 10 yrs.or longer.
Now I am taking Lexapro and it helps me greatly.
Best of Luck.Don't give up.There's help out there.

I suffer depression and panic attacks, and like you, for years I thought medication was not for me. But I got so ill over New Year, I had no option. If you want to feel better, then what is one tablet a day if it makes your day go easier.
I am a complete wreck when i fly. I am ill for days before, and also into my holiday, but i go because i want my holidays. Just try short flights first and build up. I take magazines, and my hubby is there to reassure me. Also, the past few times we have been away, my hubby has paid extra for the extra leg room, an i now sit on the isle seat, it gives me more room to breathe, and I do feel a bit better with the extra room. You could try that, its worth the extra money.

therapy works with ptsd , o know. Its a long road, any quick fix aint gonna work properly. "as i dont like it i want to be normal again "- how many times have i said that
