Has anyone suffered PTSD from being admitted to a mental hospital?

I am suffering from it from being admitted to a hospital. It was the most frightening experience of my life. The doctors and nurses terrified me with their needles and how they would yell at me all day for doing nothing wrong.

It was eight months ago and I still suffer PTSD. It is constant... It is the worst fear imaginable and it won't go away.

I can't get help from a doctor because they are the ones who caused this.

I can completely believe that this is true for you. I have been in state mental institutions (to evaluate clients) and they can be horrible and frightening places. You need to report your abuse. If you remember specific things write them down in a journal now before you forget. I realize this might be hard to do, but it would be essential in proving your case. I would talk to someone about legal council and also ask someone safe for a referral to a Psychologist/ or Psychiatrist that can help you. You can contact Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law 1101 15th St NW, Suite 1212 Washington, DC 2005-5002. It would be a good idea to look up advocacy groups specific to your state.
