Pms??????????????

when u get pms is is normal to feel realy tired and feel like u have no energy
caz no matter how much sleep i have i feel very exhausted

Yes this is completely normal.

Take a look at what you are eating and make sure you are eating balanced meals and taking a vitamin. Your body could just be trying to tell you it needs something.

I try to eat more protein and iron during pms time. It seems to help me. I also try to get a quick nap in if its possible.

Oh, I also have found that exercising helps. WHen I am in pms hell...exercising really helps me calm down, feel more balanced and have more energy..

Good luck!

yes it is .... and you can take medicine for that like ..... midol or something that takes away your pains!!!

I think most females feel like that

It's normal for me and has been for 36 years..... better some months than others but that goes for all the symptoms... Once upon a time I could take b.c. pills and that helped a LOT!
Hang in there!

ahhh..the wonders of the human body! its very possible that pms can cause tiredness. but remember, if you sleep too much, that can make you even more tired.

Yes it is!

You have to slow down the activity during the weeks you PMS whatever activity you have to do have lots of caffeine, grin and bear it. Make sure you put on a happy face so that people won't stray away because of your "tude"

same here girlfriend

It's got to be very frustrating. I found some info that may help.

Tips on controlling PMS

Eat complex carbohydrates (such as whole grain breads, pasta and cereals), fiber and protein. Cut back on sugar and fat.
Avoid salt for the last few days before your period to reduce bloating and fluid retention.
Cut back on caffeine to feel less tense and irritable and to ease breast soreness.
Cut out alcohol. Drinking it before your period can make you feel more depressed.
Try eating up to 6 small meals a day instead of 3 larger ones.
Get aerobic exercise. Work up to 30 minutes, 4 to 6 times a week.
Get plenty of sleep--about 8 hours a night.
Keep to a regular schedule of meals, bedtime and exercise.
Try to schedule stressful events for the week after your period.

Hope this helps!

Oh that is more than normal. Your body is wriping itself appart on the inside, and that takes a lot of energy. Because of that alone, you will get tired. And a lot of times the pain from pms can cause you to feel drained of energy.

You loose a lot of blood, so you get dizzy easier, and that can ALWAYS make you feel like you are tired. Eat lots and lots of red meat when you have it, and that should help.

Its just that your body is doing something that it doesnt do all that often, so it just feels bad when you do it.

See this site to better understand it and see what you can do about it.
