Does pms and hormons deal with real life issues?

I am in my 30's now and I am seeing a pattern. I used to think that pms and pregnancy were 'out of control' times. But now I am realizing that for myself, that the hormonal times are only, real life issues blown out of proportion. It is my body not letting me stay in denial about issues. So if I am annoyed with something and try to not deal with it, when I pms, it comes out as a huge deal. I worked though tons of 'emotional baggage' when I was pregnant because it was so exageratted that I could not stop myself from dealing with it.

Do others find this too? Or is pms just out of control for others?

PMS magnifies everything that has ever irritated me. I have found, though, that when issues arise when I am PMSing, I cannot deal with them then, no matter how much I want to, because I don't trust my decisions. And its a good thing, because I would probably be unemployed and divorced if I let the hormones do the talking.

I used to think pms was just a cop out. I got so tired of hearing others blame things on it.. but as I have aged, it has became an issue for me. But I think you are right. What mildly bothers me at other times, extremely bothers me then... like you say really blown out of proportion and it becomes a really big deal to me.

I think pms is out of control, in just that way, we cant control our emotions properly, and even the littlest things that you can normally shrug off, will just bug the crap out of you, and i think pms also makes you deal with life situations as if it was something thats never happened before and we dont know how to deal, lol its so silly, but when i'd pms the littlest thing that people would say of do to upset me, i would cry about or something, yet on a normal day, i would just say something like, oh wtf do they know

PMS is terrible, I was diagnosed with PMDD several years ago because I go completely nuts when I am having it. It makes me irritable and anxious and I would be fine if everyone would just ignore me and act like I wasn't around, but instead they seem to pick on me more when I am PMS ing, almost like they want to see if my head will spin.

My PMS is horrible. I've tried time and time again to control it. I've even taking some medicine and that didn't help. One minute I'm laughing and the next minute I'm crying hysterically. I lash out for no reason at everyone. It's a horrible thing for me.
