PID.. has anyone became infertile from it? |
I just found out that Ive had PID along with gonorrhea and clamidea for at least 7 months now. Is it possible that it could have damaged my female organs preventing me from having any more children in the future? Uh yeah and any decent doctor would have told you so. It is very likely to cause infertility problems. Unless you just met one bad guy maybe you should forgo the whole sex and procreating thing being you now have 3 venereal diseases! PID greatly increases your chances of infertility. It is not , however, a dead sentence. With proper medications, you can lead a healthy, normal fertile life. I had clamydia and PID, i had it for almost a year and i was told by my doctor that i have a %20 chance of having a ectopic pregnancy. He never said i would be infertile as it was just a year. But i already have a 7 year old son and not planning on having anymore so i dont mind. Good luck |
