What could this be, could it be pid???

I went to the doctor yesterday due to having sex on wed and still having pain in my lower abdomen and under my belly button. I did not have any bleeding, fever, sickness. Ive been with my bf for 2 yeras and never had this before. My doctor took test and said it could be a cyst and even mentioned pid which scared me. I do not have any stds that I know. Im waiting for the urine and blood work to come back and have to still wait to get into the gyno this was a internal med doc. My question is, the pain has def gotten better although its there a little whn I walk and push on my stomach. If it was pid would I most likely have a fever? Also would the symptoms be subsiding withoiut any treatment for it? Pleae help me Im so scared! Also my period is due tomorrow its not cramping from that but if it comes on time would it also be unlikely pid since they cause irregular periods?

There are so many reasons why you can be having pain.

PID is just too soon to assume.........he probably told you that they were ruling it out...........

go to this website......it'll tell you other reasons of why you would be having pain..........but don't panic, this is just for education, ok?? My friend had an ovarian cyst, and i have taken care of many patients that have had cysts, or Endometriosis
, very common..............

Please do not panic! Stress can cause your period to be delayed.

take a deep breath, relax, because if you find out its only a cyst, or something treatable, you are going to regret wasting how many days worrying.........please feel better, and i'll keep you in my prayers!!!!

yes, it could be cervical cyst. You'll have to wait when you doctor will call you about your results after the blood test and urine test. You will find out more when your doctor will tell you.

PID may or may not interrupt your period, nor does it affect the heaviness of a period. As you know, PID can be caused by gonorrhea, chlamydia, or any other sexually transmitted conditions. Until your doctor has the results of the tests, it will be a purely guessing game at this point. Go back to him, get the results, and get treated for whatever it is that caused you to get this way.
