Question about PID? |
When does PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) start to show symptoms if any if it happens to develop from chlamydia? Also when symptoms start do they go away and come back or stay and not go away until its cured? PID can show up anywhere from a week or two to longer after the start of the infection. the long term effects of scared fallopian tubes can not cause pain, but it does not mean that the damage is not there. it needs to be treated with the proper antibiotic and you need to be retested to make sure that the infection has been cleared. usually once the pain is gone (meaning that the infection is gone) the pain will go away. |
