Can you get PID from not wiping properly? |
A friend of mine recently was very ill with pelvic inflamitory disease not long after having protected sex with a guy who claims to be gay and has had many partners of both sexes. She didn't tell her Dr. this because she doesn't feel it's relevent....?? So her Dr. assumes it is from not wiping properly. I thought PID was an STD? GET A SECOND OPINION Tell her to stop being stupid.... You get UTI's from not wiping properly. PID is an STD. Your friend was probably embarrassed to tell you the truth about what the doctor said! The most common causes of PID are gonorrhea and chlamydial infections, but there are several other anaerobic bacterial species found in the vagina, particularly Bacteroides spp., anaerobic Gram-positive cocci, E.Coli, and Mycoplasma Hominis, which may be pathogens in PID. Many cases are polymicrobial in origin, with two or more bacterial species involved. It should be a std! YOu should see your doctor and check some useful information on std information site http://herpesmates.com |
