If a woman has PID can they still try IVF? |
Hi, well want i really want to know is if you suffered from PID (pelvic inflammatory disease) is it possible to still have IVF treatment? If your tubes have been too scarred for the egg to pass through is it still possible to take the egg out at the ovary and try IVF? Also i would love to know, especially from women that have or had PID, did you know when something was wrong?? was there pain? I didn't really. I had it for a long time and didn't know. It started off as a yeast infection type thing that wouldn't go away. I had pain during sex. I also had rib cage pain and I would wake up and my lower stomach would cramp so badly. IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment; IUI, ICSI and Laparoscopic surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Fly2india4health Consultants. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. I have also read that they arrange financing for international patients, as all surgery is not covered by insurance or by the stinking NHS. |
