How do u get PID if your a virgin?

I know someone who has honestly never slept with anyone and she was diagnosed with PID after tests, the doc had no clue how she could have got it and called it one of those things. does anyone know how it could have happened?

PID is not necessarily associated with STD.

It is an inflammation of the pelvic cavity which may have been caused by an ascending infection from 1.From contaminated toilet seats or 2. Poor hygene 3.Using a cuntaminated bath tub 4.using a toilet paper in the wrong direction eg from back to front.

Let me tell you this, At one time I was diagnosed with epiditimitis, which is an infection in your epidytimis, (by my testicles). Anyway, usually the only way you can get this infection is by having sexual intercourse. I have never had sex and according to your question it could happen to a virgin.

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease can be contracted by simply not treating a pre-existing yeast infection, or by douching while having a yeast infection.
