Help!! could i have PID?? |
I just got treated for chlamydia about 4 weeks ago. I didnt even know i had it. I dont know how long i have had it. After i got treatd i was having discharge. the medicine cause me to have a yeast infection. So i cleared that up with monostat. Now yesterday i had sex and i had pain deep inside my vagina. (note: i hadnt had sex in two months.) And afterwards my stomach was really hurting. Is this PID or am i overreacting?? You need another exam by the doctor to tell you what the problem is. It could be just a simple cervicitis from the yeast but it could be something else. Especially if you have the "chandelier" sign. Go get checked out. With your history, I would definitely call the doctor and describe your symptoms to them. I would also hold off on sex until you talk to the doctor. usually the pain is more on one side. i doubt it is PID but keep an eye on it. and use protection to prevent more STDs |

Hmmmm I dont know about this thing if you need any help or some thing what you need just look around on that site ... PID is not transmitted from a male to a female, unless he had an STD. PID is usually caused by an STD so someone wasn't all that faithful. He needs to be screened for ALL STD'S. ...its probably just a yeast. sometimes those meds are harsh. id treat yourself for a yeast as soon as you get off your period and see if the symptoms persist. if they do, go back to the docs. ...It would depend on why the woman has no periods - it's possible she has some problem that could keep her from gettping pregnant. But that's definately not a reliable form of birth control... PID occurs when bacteria move upward from a woman's vagina or cervix (opening to the uterus) into her reproductive organs. Many different organisms can cause PID, but many cases are associated... It's not like that the disease has originated in some part of world and spread to everywhere. Its not like AIDS. You contract the disease when you immunity falls,or the microorganisms are high... Don't feel stupid. It can be hard to read the signs your body is sending. Be patient for a little while and let your body heal. Once the inflamation has gone down you can get some tests do... There is no specific test for PID but it can be diagnosed based on your symptoms, an exam. and maybe lab tests. My advice is to see your Gyno and tell him/her exactly what you have written here.
