Medical professionals- Are you having any problems with the NOPR for pet scans?

Mediciare has given us a free pass for pet/ct scans, but does everyone know it?

The five year study has just started and i was wondering if anyone was having problems. Are you doing pets when you would havedone something else.

I use PET scans when I feel they are appropriate to my care of my patients. I have not had any problem whatsoever with Medicare. It is the private insurance companies that give me a hard time.
