PET Scan- Radiologist?

How reliable is SUV in PET Scan?

Standardized uptake values are that - standardized. They relate to what organs the PET scan is looking at, what kind of neoplasm they are searching for, and so the values are different between, say, lymphoma and pancreatic cancer.

I think the largest they can do with a pet scan is a mid-sized sedan. Leave the SUV at home.
