How to read a pet scan for colen cancer?

i got the disk today but i don't know how or what iam looking at . i need to know ASAP

I just need to know if the black spots are the cancer

The PET Scan is a highly specialised test and can only be accurately reported by a qualifed specialist, like a radiologist.

Most doctors have no experience reading them, as they are reasonably new and complicated tests, compared with a simple chest Xray.

The disc will have the images on it, but what you need is the formal report from the Radiologist. If that isn't on the disc, then see your doctor on Monday and ask him to track down the report. He may need to call the Radiologist on the phone.

There is no point trying to read it yourself.

Sorr,y but I think you'll need to wait to see you doctor.

Didn't your doctor tell you? Or are you going to a second doctor for another opinion? Take it to a doctor to be read.

You need a trained professional to read the results. ASAP.
