How often should you have a pet scan after a liver resection surgery for cancer? My dad had throat cancer and reconstructive surgery. His first PET scan was 6 months after surgery, then another 6 months later. Now he does not need to go again for 12 months. Quite honestly, this is something you should probably be asking your doctor. Wasn't this information given to you already? Ummm, gee, oh, duh, what did the doctor say, moron? |
