Will Medicare pay for a PET scan for uterine tumors of the papillary serous cell type? Where is the gov websit I found some information here...http://www.medicare.gov/Publications/Pub... Normally PET Scans are not done on Uterine cancers. The FDG used for injection will not concentrate in that specific type of cancer. So sorry to say the answer is no. |
