What do you think. My doctor found two masses by the cat scan confirmed by pet scan.?

The doctors told me not to worry. Tue i am going back for another cat scan. I have been in anxiety for about five months, Why would they not say if is cancer or not, why wait 5 months? one doctor me i am ok not to worry the other one kept be in an state of anxiety for 5 months. Note i have a brain tumor causing real bad pain in my head. Cyberknife sugery was performed with results about 93 percent. I think i am one of the seven percent. Now my lungs are poor less than 50 percent and getting worse. I have had several Heart attacks a failed bypass numerous stents. i have total ED, Lots of pain, and now a change in bowel habits. I am really sick and need help.

Sorry to hear/read of your situation. I also have had brain tumors since 95 an have had several surgeries. Jan 03 95 I was in surgery 13 hrs, they removed two tumors one the size of a baseball the other a golf ball. Again in Sept 23 05 right frontal lobe. One of which was the gamma knife back in Oct 06 06, they zapped two on that day. What is scary to me is they have had to remove one from the right side three times. It was my third time around, but my first with the knife. As in your case two masses, you did not say just were they are located. I hope if in your head that maybe they can do the gamma knife. It did work for me, at my last follow up I was found to be all clear, and they want to see me againin about 10 months from now. I was never told I had cancer. My tumors were mengiomas(sp) and are considerd more common in females not saying males are not able to get them and normal they are non cancers. Most times a person never knows they have them until they have been in say an auto accident and they do all this checking then they find them and say BTW. I also suffer from IBS and liver tumors and a cist on my spine don't have the ED am still very interested just the other half is not interested any more. I figure she should enjoy me while she has me. I plan on begin around a lot longer until the man up strairs call my number. Many states have a TBI group and you can or should be able to look one up in the phone book also there is web sites you can go to tbihome.org there you can find a lot of caregivers and or surviors. It cost nothing to jump in and tell what you are feeling, rant rave or what ever. It is not a bad place they also have a place for jokes, and if youcan cook give a recipe or two. I think you are in the area of TBI and would rate some of the support. Well my friend I wish you the best of luck and all the family support that can be given reguardless.
Mine was do to my time in the service I spent 20 yrs and wore a lot of diffrent hats one of which I had to deal with hazmat. One of my men lost his lung because of it. Mine was more stress.

well...i would think you are correct...either the doc is not saying or is over cautious...seek another opinion if ya don't like what he/she is sayin..good luck to ya........

So you have Brain cancer and now you have 2 masses in the chest, confirmed by PET scan. These are cancerous, as well. PET scans only confirm Cancer. Is the Brain tumor as primary cancer, or secondary? Wondering what the primary is. Change in bowel habits could be nothing, could be something...like more cancer. I wish you the best of luck, unfortunately it doesnt look good.
