Have you had an experience by taking pot just 4 times, that altered your conciousness in a bad way for a year? |
I have not thought as coherently as I did a year ago. I don't seem to know how it is that I used to act. And I have noticed that I seem, when I read, not to see the context of sentences whithin a paragraph (or something of the like). Does this ever go away? I have not hit my head, and do not have any harmful chemicals in my body (such as mercury or lead). The only drug I have done that is illegal in the US, although never smoked it in the US, was pot. So how is this possible? I have taken MRI and pet scans (glucose radiotracer). And is there a test that can detect any chemical abnormaility in the brain more precisely? I have heard that the pet scan dealing with glucose is very general and maybe I should think of a scan where they put the radiotracer in another molecule that deals more with some brain function. for example, if someone hurles a insult or imply something which I would normally respond and handle with ease. Now I have no I was also going to say, are you sure it was just pot? Maybe meditation/mind stimulating activities will help with your concentration. You may need to use extra effort than before. Also, make sure you're getting enough sleep and nutrients. You could simply be deficient in something. Try getting a good multivitamin. If you like tea, African red bush (rooibos) tea is shows to be great for brain health. Just take care of your body and mind and see where things go from there. I met someone many, many years ago who had somed some "bad" pot. It was treated with an insectcide and the residue was still in the final product. Several people had bad trips from smoking it. The person I spoke to developed a serious paranoia that lasted about a decade. It was thought to be caused by altered brain chemistry from smoking the insecticide. |
