Does PAP Smear show HPV (if there are no warts at the moment)? |
Does Pap Smear show if I have HPV? These things can lie dormat for long periods of time. Sorry to hear about this. Just get them taken care of and take the proper steps to keep on top of your paps for cervical cancer. Best of luck to you! well there are different strands of hpv, but with the pap they should be able to tell, and when they look at the cervics, hpv would show or can be transmitted with no signs or symptoms........ Definitely get that checked out ASAP!!! My friend has HPV with warts. When she got her pap test, the doctor found the HPV and later she had the warts, so I don't know why the test isn't showing you have HPV unless it's something else. |
