After pap smear question...? |
I had a pap smear yesterday and my doctor said there may be some bleeding but he didnt mention any other possibilities so I was curious if this happened to anyone...Overnight I had a thick brownish discharge but if doesnt look like old blood...It's hard to explain and it has a very foul odor. I am 18 weeks pregnant and was just curious if this was something to worry about or if the pap smear may have caused it? Sounds to me like old blood..HOWEVER...you should probably call your dr's office and speak with your dr's nurse. Call your doctor right away better to be safe than sorry. Call the doctor. There must have been a reason why they did a pap smear during your pregnancy, that is not normal and you should get answers my sister bleeds after pap smears. Just call the office to confirm. |
