Kids in ozone warning?

If there is an ozone warning in effect, what precautions should I take with preschool children outside? What could happen if they are outside? I'm not really even sure what an ozone warning is.

to be honest neither am i

it means air quality is not good, children are more apt to get colds and breathing disorders can be aggravated such as asthma. so it is advisable to keep children in doors.

Not being expert, I would not allow young children to be exposed for more than twenty minutes because the protective shield earth has against solar radiation is now being depleted, opening up the possibility of increased incidents of skin cancer.

I hope and pray that remedies are forthcoming (soon), such as alternative fuel useage, proliferation of trees to the point where they block solar rays and increase our oxygen supply, and anything else that could help the situation.

Caution is never out of style.
