Overweight..? |
im really woriied, im 5'3 12 years old and weigh about 136 pounds. Ive tryed not eating and it doesn't last also i'm home schooled so its hard for me to get exercise like everyone else? I Don't eat that much i never have breakfast or lunch but that's normal to me, what can i do? i feel really un happy about the way i look - like a whale. Even if i just eat fruit and veg i just don't seem to loose weight HELPPPPP Please! Don't worry - you're far from overweight. I would probably even say that you are the perfect weight for someone your age. At 12 years old - you should not worry so much about your appearance. There is no such thing as an overweight person in my opinion, no matter how old you are. Just eat right and ask whoever is teaching you if they could take an hour or so out of your time to jog or play a sport. It's better to be healthy than anorexic. Report It Since you're home schooled try to take up a sport with a local rec. team or go for a jog around your neighborhood every day. You're just making excuses about not exercising because you're at home. Get off of the coach and start burning some calories. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you eat porridge or cereal you will feel 100 times better. You are feeling down because you are not feeding your brain. try it and you will see. x well if you eat breakfast , lunch, and dinner. First of all not having breakfast is really bad for you and makes you gain weight. What I would do is find some ways to exercise. Get an exercise bike or something. Hula hoop is good for your waist. Do sit ups. Go for runs. Things like that. Try a BMI calculator. You are still growing. You MUST eat breakfast, it is the most important meal and kick starts your metabolism. Don't start dieting at your age because it is usually what serial dieters who never lose weight do. Relax, cut out the junk, eat when your hungry and get involved in a sport and you'll be fine. Don't starve yourself, it won't help you. first off, you're not a whale, and second you should eat breakfirst because it jumpstarts your metabolism for the day. you could try having six small meals a day, but watch your portion sizes and don't eat anything after 8 p.m. no,i think ur at a decent weight for ur age.but if u r not happy with urself lose some weight.it's easier cuz ur homeschooled.u can go out whenever and run around.have fun,enjoy being ur age. If you dont eat lunch or brekkie, then your body will store the calories from what you od eat. Eat three healthy meals a day, you will be happier :] eat small meals throughout the day. Don't let yourself starve. Not eating will only put your body in starvation mode and slow down your metabolism. Just watch what you eat, stay away from soda, juice or refined carbs and exercises regularly. If you really want to loose weight you should try joining a sports team outside of schools. Or you could take dance lessons. Eating healthy food will help too. Just don't starve yourself. Eat whatever you want, but if you eat a Bic Mac or something, try to find time to take a quick jog around the neighborhood. If that doesn't work ask your doctor if there's anything he/she can do to help you loose weight. hey be happy with your size. Your different and unique.And what I'v read in magazines is that girls who don't have breakfast are more likely to be obese when there older. I.In my opinion what stands out is the stomach of a person. So when I was in 7th grade, last year I started working on my stomach, with crunches, situps, stuff of that nature, and I lost a good deal of weight. You're overweight because you're not eating properly, and not getting any exercise. okay first u need to eat breakfast, and lunch because of that you are setting yourself to indulge on a lot of junk later and u need more than just fruits and veggies! u need protein and some carbs too! (not too many) Duuuude ur not overweight yet. Be careful, and try soem indoor aerobics. Ur bmi is 24.1, still in the healthy weight range. But 25+ is overweight. Be careful. BTW eat! Eat breakfast, skip snacks, eat well balanced meals. i wouldnt worry about your weight at 12, dont skip breakfast it gives you energy throughout the day, starving yourself wont work your body will go into starvation mode and and can actually put on weight also starving yourself can be dangerous it can damage your kidneys etc, do some jogging on the spot, sit ups, skipping rope, run up and down the stairs, drink plenty of water, your only 12 dont let this get to you at 12, dont take notice of the celebrities they have personal trainers etc and super models are always miserable because they dont eat. Well, i'm in 8th grade (13 almost 14), I'm 5'3, andd i weigh 128-130. Just do some easy workout videos. thats what i do. but if yo uwant an easy workout that will make u lose weight FAST, then just jump rope! Jumping rope makes you lose 23 calories per minute. riding a bike at 10 mph makes you lose 7 calories per minute. jogging at 5mph makes you lose 6 calories per minute. and walking at 3mph makes you lose 3 calories per minute. SO JSUT JUMP ROPE AND EAT HEALTHY =) I've answered so many questions like this, I just created a blog with weight loss help for those who need it. Well, of course you can't keep up not eating, did you think you could? And sure you can exercise, running, cycling, calistetics, playing sports with kids in the area... Lots of schools offer open gym, swimming etc. What do you think adults do? |

And if your step-daughters mother lets her do & eat whatever she wants, then it's going to be diff... don't worry about things like this so early in your life please you are still growing and besides there is plenty of time in the future to lose weight or do watevr u want, but please u r stil... find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need t... |
