i'm 5'1 and 148 lbs....i keep feeling sorry for myself. awful, i know. what should i do? i don't have any pictures...i'm in baggy clothes or edited half out...sz 10 pants. what do you think i should weigh? We create our own destiny. Unless suffering from some disease, maintaining weight is in our hands. If you think, you can do it. Eat to live and do not live to eat. Eat only when hungry. maintain time schedule for eating.Maintain self discipline and self esteem. Eat natural foods and naturally. Chew 20 to 30 times. Take small bites. No water 1 hour before 2 hours after meals. 4 glasses of water first thing in morning.Gradually increase from 1glass. Intake of lime juice mixed water with honey will help. Work out. Yoga &pranayama will do wonders. Best of luck If you feel sorry for yourself, you should do something to make yourself happy.. possibly something like exercise. Although it seems dreadful, once you get in a routine of a form of exercise you'll feel better about yourself. Not because you're trying to shed pounds but your body just gives off natural chemicals that make you feel better when you do physical activities.. Society today is so obsessed with weight that only 2% of women actually think they are beautiful. That is SO sad. Don't feel sorry for yourself! I know it's tough, I myself am a little overweight, and it's a fairly recent thing for me, so I'm still getting used to it. But you will always have friends, family, and significant others that will love you and your body no matter what!! So don't feel so down! And stop editing yourself out of pictures...that's really sad! You don't want to look back on these years and wish you had pictures of yourself! If you are unhappy with your weight, you can always change it. Start out slowly, just with a walk around the block once a day, and then maybe a hike on the weekends. Eventually work up to going to the gym. You'll be surprised at how much better you look and feel. Good luck!! I think as long as your waist is under 30 inches and your body fat is below 30%, you're okay. |
