Overweight??? |
hi, i weigh 151 lbs and i'm 12 going on 13. im 5'3. i feel fat and i'm trying to lose weight but i have no will power and i don't know what to do. don't worry about things like this so early in your life Drinks lots of water, and walk everyday. You will lose the weight. more exercise. exercise takes many forms. It doens't have to be formal exercise. Try volleyball or after school activities. every time u eat something, lets say pizza, instead of eating four slices, eat 3....stuff like that....like less ice cream or cookies....and work out 30 min extra a day listen to music while you run it makes time fly. I think you might be a bit overweight but I'm not sure if it is to the point where it is deadly. Lose weight because you want to be healthy, not because others preasure you because you're beautiful no matter what. Im only 13 and 130- goin down so get an exersice machine they work good that's really unhealthy! you really need to control your eating habits, or you'll never lose anything, but your confidence! Take charge ask your parents to help you do so. For example don't let your self eat unhealthy food. To get motivated you many want to ask a doctor or family memmber to tell you what can happen ( in full detail) if you continue along the path you are currently going. Ask your doctor to help make a diet plan for you. Or you could look into some diets, or healthy eating habits. As well as some exercises. Start consuming less calories a day and expend more. Get a hobby, dance, gymnastics, etc. Think of the consequences of being so young and at a heavy weight and the chances of health risks increasing. That should be motivation. It may be because of your metabolism. Check with your doctor to see if it's high or low. If it's low, that may be why you're 'overweight'. If it's low, it means your body is storing away the fat, so you need to exercise. Don鈥檛 go on diets, but cutting down on a lot of fat foods like pizza can help. Don鈥檛 be a couch potato and eat in your bed or couch (lying down). Do a lot of sports like soccer, running/jogging鈥asiest is swimming. I agree with AB..you'd be surprise how much weight you can lose by walking. Start off at 30 mins, map a route and add to it. It passes the time to have an ipod or walkman and remember to stop look and listen when crossing busy roads and intersections. I'm same weight and height. Only difference is I'm almost 16. So I'm right there with ya, girl. I would suggest counting your calories. Try exercising. I ride a stationary bike daily for at least 30 min. The entire time I'm thinking man I wish this was over lol. But I listen to my favorites songs and sing along and in no time I'm finished! Until the next day ;( lol.. but best of luck girl. Remember, if you set your mind to it, you can reach your goals! Play sports, workout, and exercise! Don't worry! Look I am 12 going on 13 (in a month, that's y my ?'s say i'm 13) I'm going into 8th grade. And when i was in 6th grade, at my highest i weighed 132 pounds. I did nothing, but gym that our school does and dance. (I have done dance all my life, so its not like anything happened from that) Now i am taller than i was before and way 123 pounds. Before i was a size 11! Now I am a size 4! Let time do the work first before you do anything drastic. Believe me i know that girls our age always want to be skinny! But if you want, exercise, eat healthy and that's all you need to do at this point! |
