Will this bladder exercise hurt me in any way? |
I have always had an overactive bladder, so I read somewhere on here that while I am going to the bathroom, I try to stop peeing midstream and repeat this over and over. I have been trying to do this everytime. When my friend asked about it, and I told her, she said she thinks her mom (who is a surgical assistant, but knows a lot about medicine) once told her that that could actually WEAKEN the bladder muscles. Now I am confused with how to procede, and I'd like some input and answers. Please only mature answers however, as this is not a joke for me. No, keep it up. Overactive bladder could lead to prolapsed bladder later if your kegel muscles (the muscles your using to excercise) aren't kept strong. Then you'll have to have surgery for your prolapsed bladder like I will have in a few months. research kegel excercise in relationship to the bladder on line. Also like I recommended, talk to your dr. Report It |
