Does it sort of burn when you pee? Is it cloudy? Do you have to go all the time and only pee small almounts? If so, it is probably a bladder infection. Cranberry, vitamin C, parsley and lots of water may fix it, also herbs like Uva Ursi can help, but you may need antibiotics. If you are also thirsty all the time you could have diabetes. If you are leaking when you cough or sneeze it is just loose pelvic floor muscles, "pucker" excercises (kegels) will help if you do a lot and do them right (search the net for more info).

Make sure to see your doctor. It could mean several things since it came on so suddenly.

It is good sign of a urinary tract infection. Head to urgent care and get tested for a UTI before this causes further problems by going into your kidneys or blood stream. Never let a UTI go untreated. Any unusual symptoms like this need to be checked out if they don't go away in a reasonable amount of time. 2 weeks was too long to let a sudden case urinary frequency go so head out to urgent care or the ER after you read this response.

Could be a mild urinary tract infection. If it doesn't get better soon, call up your doctor... the test is just a urine test, and they can be cleared up very easily.

What about having a blood test for sugar? You might have diabetes. One symptom is usually increased urination.

You really don't give enough information. For example, is this only a night time problem? You said you pee a lot, but I think you really ment you pee often so the question is; do you also pee a large quantity? Any other symptoms like fever or pain? Kidney stone does come to mind but they usually hurt like heck. Usually, not always and if it's in your bladder it will make you feel like you always have to pee but not much will come out. Drink a lot of liquids and if it's a stone it should pee out within a few weeks.
