I keep having to urinate and it's irking me!? |
I know sometimes I go thru the stage where one day my body just "cleans itself out" so I'm urinating mostly all that day..but this has been going on for about 2 weeks.it stopped for a little while but has come back. Every time I use the bathroom..5mins later I want to go back..half of me is thinking now that it is just my imagination, because the urges aren't as strong at times, but I know they're there. I just started my job as a waitress, and I don't want to have to keep doing this. I have a system..use it in the morning.whenever i end up drinking somethin during the day (of course) and at night b4 I sleep, etc. But every time i drink something now..it shoots straight down to my bladder. I looked up UTI, and the only sign I have is frequent trips, so it can't be it. Diabetes 2..and that doesn't even run in my family. it's not foul smelling, it's clear.. they say it could be an overactive bladder, but i don't know..but I know for sure it's not UTI. I'm 20.what should I do?what is it? i'm away in college..i can't get 2 my doctor From recent experience, I would say you have a UTI. You don't have to have all the symtoms to have this. Go to the doctor and get some anti-biotics and it should clear up within 7-10 days. You do have a uti! but confirm it with an over counter uti test kit First off, never ever rule out an UTI. Type 2 diabetes doesn't run in families. Type 1 does. Type 2 is from bad-eating and other things. You do have UTI, so try an over-the-counter or see a doctor. My experience, you do have a uti. You can find the medicine at drug store or goes see your doctor. Well everyone thinks you have a uti and well i dont. I have an overactive bladder and this is what i go thru all the time and I am 22. I also have endometriosis and a suspended and tilted (toward the front) uterus, my doc says that it has an effect on why i urinate so much. It sounds like you probably have an overactive bladder. It could be possible to have a uti but you would know it. it wouldnt be clear and it would be very painful. I advise you to consult a nearby physician. I work at a university which has a family doctor not to far down the road. I suggest maybe you get a local phone book and try looking up some doctors. Granted you may have to pay a lil but it would be worth it to find out whats going on. If you would like to talk to me more my email is my profile. I hope this helps. I know you feel sure this is not it, but I had the same problem. I had a system just like you where I was only peeing 2 or 3 times per day. Then I started to notice that had had to go all the time but because that was my only symptom, I didnt think much of it. then all of a suuden one day i just got really really sick and my temp went up to 104.7 and stayed there until the next day when i finally went in to the doctor. Turns out I had a UTI that I had left untreated and it had spread up into my kidneys. I would hate to have the same thing happen to you. I think you are too young for an overactive bladder. If I were you I would see a doctor or go to your health services on campus and at least talk to a nurse. My guess is that you have a UTI and are not experiencing all of the symptoms, which is not uncommon. Good Luck! |
