What over the counter medicines can gastric bypass patients take?

I am seven weeks post op and looking for a safe laxative

I had the surgery Oct. 18, 2002. I agree that you should speak with your doctor about the answer. There are times however that you cannot contact your Dr, for one reason or another, in these instances I would recommend that you use medications that you would normally use for your children. My Dr advised me that since my pouch was tiny, like a child, that this was the safest choice if I could not contact him.
