Are there any home remedies or over the counter medicines that treat a UTI without presciption?? |
im in an early stage. two days?? im gonna try cystex. any other suggestions cranberry pills or juice.... I'm sure you have heard the old standby of cranberry juice. Other than that, why suffer? Go to the doc! obviously has your md told you that sulfa based antibiotics are the best solution. your body may actually take care of the problem on its own but can be dangerous and cause more problems, i.e. bladder infection. try to drink lots of citric acid based drinks like craberry juice and NOT cocktail. the juice is 100% without sugars added. Azo makes something to help with the discomfort, however antibiotics is the only way to treat it. It's a bacterial infection that has to be treated. Never let it go untreated! The infection could spread in your body and make you very sick. I had one for months (I didn't know that's what it was), finally I got so sick I went to the hospital. The infection had spread throughout my whole body, mainly in my blood stream! They actually thought I was going to die at one point. So it's nothing to mess with.
