Know of any good over the counter allergy medicines?

Get Loratadine. It's the active anti-allergy ingredient found in Claritin and it does not cause drowsiness. It will stop that runny nose, itchy eyes, or cough that you're having.
However, it won't decongest your sinuses. If that's what you're looking for, something that contains pseudoephedrine will do the trick. Unfortunately, pseudoephedrine will cause drowsiness.
Personally, I use loratadine when my allergies start barking, and it does the trick every time.

Benedryl ALWAYS works. It makes you sleepy, so take it with food and stay active and you'll be fine.
