What kind of over the counter pain medicines can I use if I take effexor? Advil would be fine to take, over the counter pain meds will not affect the effexor talk to your pharmicist. i agree with B I take Effexor and several other prescription drugs. There are not many things that would actually harm you. I've never heard of an antidepressant making it unsafe to take OTC pain meds (unless maybe it was an MAOI, which Effexor is not.) |
