Are their any over the counter sleeping medicines at store people can buy?

If so what is the medicine called? Are they different types of sleeping medicine ? What the best one to use if you cannot got to sleep at night or daytime even?

Most OTC sleeping potions are simply antihistamines (mainly Benadryl). There is a hormone called melatonin that is the best choice. There is also an herbal product called valerian root and another which is chamomile tea. None of these things are addictive. Melatonin is the best choice.

It's an herbal supplement, so it's non addictive, you don't feel groggy or shaky the next morning, and best of all it's something that is found naturally in the human body. It's the chemical that tells your brain that it's dark out and it's time to go to sleep. I believe the max dosage per day is 8mg, and they come in 3 mg tablets. I work 3rd shift and sleeping in the day is rough sometimes, this has been a life/job saver.
