Does anyone know of any over the counter medicine for OCD? |
just wandering if there were any over the counter medicines for OCD. Not sure about pharmaceuticals, but if you go to a health food shop they should sell the Bach Flower Essences. White Chestnut is excellent for getting racing/repetitive/unwanted thoughts out of your head, and Crab Apple is great for wanting something out of you - whether it's an infection, some thoughts, some feelings, or disgust about your weight or appearance, stuff like that. Rescue Remedy is also excellent for panic, anxiety, shock, etc. Maybe that St.John Wart stuff. Don't know if I spelled it right. L-tryptophan may help - or has it been totally banned? |
