What kind of over the counter medicine is good for a 2 year old who has the shomach flu??

My lil girl keeps throwing up and cant keep anything down not even liquids I want to know if anyone out there can suggest any over the counter medicine out there.

Never give kids under 3 new meds without consulting the pediatrician! Call the nurse on call right now and ask what to do.

i don't suggest giving your 2 year old anything with out talking to you doctor there is proof that some meds cause sids so be careful

Other than calling the nurse, I don't think there's really anything you can do if she can't keep anything down. Her little body's fighting off something viral and she'll just have to fight it. Eventually, she'll be able to get some fluids. Hope she feels better.

No medication is going to cure that stomach flu....it has to be flushed out of the child's body.
Make sure you keep the 2 year old well hydrated. Go to the baby Isle and get some Pedialyte. It will help keep the balance of electrolytes in your 2 year old. You may want to try some Popsicles that also are found with the Pedialyte and also help to maintain the electrolyte balance. Make sure you do not let the child get dehydrated - good luck.
