Ovarian Cysts.?

I am pretty sure I have a cyst on each side. More pain on the left side, just need to know if i should be concerned about seeking help immediately or is this something that can wait. Pain is becoming more frequent and little sharper. Thanks for any help.

thats not good, that one girl from the duel on mtv, diem had ovarian cancer. definetely see a doctor right away.

You should def. get checked out. It could just be constipation or a
cyst, unlikely you will have two cysts though.

The longer you wait, the more you risk in losing your ovaries. I have had many problems with my reproductive system in my life, and that hasn't been one (yet...knock on wood!), but I would definitely go to the doctor quick!

You should make an appointment with your doctor to check it out. He will probably send you to get an ultrasound just to make sure there are no complications.

My advice is to go and see your Gynaecologist to do you an ultrasoud and be sure whether you really have cysts and to exclude the possibility of having another problem. Overian cysts are mostly small and donot need any surgical interferance. I wish you good health and a very quick recovery.

I have those too. Best bet.. go to a your gynocologist and get an ultrasound. Also, ask for pain medication for when you get sharp pains (usually like Darvocet). Hope that helps! :)

I've had them, also on both ovaries. Only an ultrasound can diagnose them for sure, so make an appointment with your GYN. They do sometimes "pop" on their own, without need for surgical intervention, but again, only your GYN can advise you best.

I've known women who've had them and were never bothered by them in any way. I, on the other hand, suffered escalating intense pain from them. Since your pain seems to be escalating, I say again : go see your GYN.

Meanwhile, here are a few informative sites regarding ovarian cysts which explain them in detail and also give treatment methods :

You can not be sure to have cysts just from diagnosing yourself or asking strangers on the internet. And you should see a doctor right away. Severe lower abdominal pain always has to be checked. You can have the same symptoms with an appendix or other illnesses. Go to a doctor!

Yes you should see your doctor. Cysts cannot be accurately diagnosed without at the very least an ultrasound. There are any number of things it could be. Just see your OB/GYN. I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured and I nearly bled to death before they figured out what was going on.

the cause of cyst pian are 1.partial twisted &release2.haemorragia 3rupture.4complete twisted.so for more evaluation you do sonography.
