Ovarian Cysts? |
Tell me information on this plz!!!! How long do you stay in the hospital after surgery? what happens after this? Did you lose weight after.. I know it makes you gain The above answer is true - the cyst does have to be within a specific size range in order for it to be removed. The only thing I can tell you is that the cyst has to be a specific size to get it removed. I have one, but it isn't big enough to go through surgery. Try and talk to your doc for more in depth info :-). You know, they found one on my left ovary, about the size of a small orange. I went into the hospital in the morning, after not eating and drinking from the evening before. The surgeon did one of those microscopic surgerys, with two, one inch incisions beside my belly button, I went to recovery after surgery and returned home that afternoon with a couple of pain pills. Now they took the cyst down to the lab and froze it and sectioned it while I was still on the table, it was benign, most cysts are benign. Had it been cancerous, they would have removed everthing around it, and I would have had a longer stay in the hospital. |
