Can ovarian cysts affect your fertility?????????? |
I have a history of ovarian cysts..normal non cancerous non tissue benign cysts that just disappear over time but i am wondering if any nurses or drs know if ovarian cysts can affect your fertility?..i have had 3 ovarian cysts in the past 2 years..and i knew i had then because they were painful n i went 2 the ER..thanks! You need to find out through your gynecologist exactly what type of cyst they are. It is normal to have what is called a follicular cyst each month with your cycle and these are tiny fluid sacs that burst on their own with ovulation and you usually never feel them but sometimes they may not pop and the fluid builds up and can become very painful but they will not effect your fertility. don't know I have a friend who had to get a hysterectomy because of them. YES!!! i had a massive ovarian cyst removed when i was seventeen. i have since had five children. good luch |
