Ovarian cancer quesiton here. why do women who have had ultrasounds show septated ovarian cysts in a small?

amount of non specific fluid in the Pouch of Doglous and then to and get a biopsy and it shows mallignant? My doctor told me last week that manny of patients she has diagones with septated ovarian cysts have been diagnosed with cancer why is this, and why do they get irregular bleeding that is not thier period and bleed so heavy for about 5 days or so and then go back to spotting? I need to know this. This is for me. I am due for another scan in the moring as the radiographer has recomeded it and so did the doctor. I have not started treatment yet and is was suggested to me I have a hystorecomy. No way will I have that horrible rotten operation. So any othre sugestions? Please advise me on my questions becasue I am lost.

You really need to sit down with your doctors and ask these questions that you keep asking on here.
They are the ones with your medical records and all the results of your testing. No one here can help you...only to give you generalizations maybe or to share their own personal experiences. Take a notebook into your next appt with you...write down these questions and jot down answers that your doc gives you. If he's already suggested a hysterectomy, maybe you should take that into consideration. That "horrible, rotten" operation bought my sister a lot more time on this earth to spend with her loved ones.

It is not entirely clear what your actual symptoms are, but it seems that you are very worried.
If several of your doctors agree on some plan for diagnostics and treatment, then it is probably better to follow their advice than to ask people here, as your doctors have the facts and we don't.
