So scared its ovarian cancer..plz help?

Hi I am 23 and am scared to death i have ovarian cancer. for about a year now i have had lower pelvic pain..kind of just like a dull aching pain or sometimes it feels like a pinching feeling. It will come on for a few days and then fade off for a couple weeks or so. Sometimes I also feel a little nauseous. The pain is usualy only on my right side and travels down to the right side of my leg. Lately, I have been making bowel movements more frequently and find myself passing gas throughout the day, which never happened before. I am also constantly burping! I have looked up these symptoms and it all points to ovarian cancer and I am so incredibly scared. I know I should go to a doctor but im so scared to do that. does this sound like ovarian cancer to anyone? is it possible to get it at 23 yrs old? i need some answers. thanks

You really need to see a doctor The longer you wait, the worse it will get and the more severe the consequences. Please see a doctor. Yes you can get ovarian cancer at that age. It could be something less scary, but only 1 way to find out. The sooner they find out, the sooner something can be done about it, no matter what the diagnosis.

It's possible to get any type of cancer at any age, but the chances of it actually being ovarian cancer is low. Since no one on here is qualified to make a diagnosis, stop reading stuff on the internet and just go to your doctor. It's probably nothing, so just get over yourself and go.

sounds like you should see a doc, cause it quite possibly could be your appendix. You don't want that to burst. I would be more concerned with that right now.

You should never be scared to go to a doctor. You could be putting yourself in danger. The quicker you figure out what is wrong, the better chance you have in curing it. Don't worry! Any doctor would be able to give you MUCH better advice than anyone on here... you have to go!!!

See a doctor. There are many other much more common reasons for your symptoms besides cancer. The only way to get answers is to have a proper exam and consultation with a GYN.

It is possiblay but not probable. You might want to look up the symptoms of Endometrosis. It's what I had and ended up getting a Hysterectomy at 27 years old. My mother passed away from Ovarian Cancer and so I know just about everything about it. The symptoms for that cancer are so broad that it is mistaken for cancer and the other way around. Your ONLY best bet is to go to the doctor and tell him/her EVERYTHING. Even if you think it does'nt pertain to what you are going through. If it is Ovarian Cancer the longer you are scared to go the harder it is going to be to treat. Ovarain Cancer is a very very agressive cancer. Not going to the doctor is only going to amke it worse. Please for the sake of yourself and your family go to the doctor.!

See a doctor, but it could be something like endometriosis or PCOS. It's never good to self-diagnose.
