Could it be ovarian cancer? |
i have all the symptoms of ovarian cancer. the abdominal and back pain. pelvic pressure, bloating, fatigue, gas and leg pain. i went to the doctor and i had an ultrasound done, which said that my ovaries and everything were normal. the pains are getting worse though, should i trust the ultrasound, i'm 16 btw, with no known ovarian cancer in my immediate family. my period has just finished and this has been going on non stop for three months. The symptoms you have described could be caused by MANY things besides ovarian cancer. You need more diagnostic testing to see what IS the root of the problem. It sounds like you are going to have your period soon. If you are still having pain-you should seek a second opinion. That's good that you are taking your health seriously but you are young and maybe thinking about it too much. I don't know how active you are-do you exercise? Exercise can help all the pain that you have described-walking, running, bicycling, etc. Best of health and luck to you. |
