Otitis media? What's the cure?

I flew back to Ny from LA about a months a go. After I got off the airport, 5 hours later my air got pressure, like air make you hear buzzing sounds. Since it wasn't hurting and I figured I would ignore it. 5 weeks later the situation hasn't improved or got worse. I can still hear but the air still there. What's wrong?

if it is otitis media.. which is a common ear infection just get antibiotics.. but i have to say that if it were an ear infection after 5 wks you would be in more pain that you can imagine and it would have spread to other areas of your body, like your nose and throught. anyways it sounds like the pressure in the plane may have damaged your inner ear and you have to see a specialist have have test done to find out the problem.

It might not be Otitis media, or middle ear infection. because you have not mantioned pus or fluid oozing out of the ear. do not jump to conclusion before being checked by an ENT. whatever it is, after two weeks you can not term it as an acute. It has gone chronic. it could be
even vertigo, which also gives you buzzing sound in the ears at time.
a simple pressure therapy by applying pressure below your eye, at the side of nosetrail, and points on your neck where skull ends, with your thumb would help you immensely. Please see an ENT it it persists.
