What is the cure for otitis media(without the doctor consent)? Any alternative medicine?

Otitis Media is a rather common diagnosis and is usually combatted with prescription ear drops and an antibiotic.

Depending on regional cultures, parents may have pressed a warm water bottle or warm bag of salt against the ear. Such old-fashioned remedies may still help to ease ear pain.
Drops of tea tree oil may be beneficial. This herbal treatment has mild anti-bacterial properties, but it may irritate the skin.
Studies have reported that Otikon, an extract made of various plants, including garlic and St. John's Wort, is an effective anesthetic in treating the pain associated with ear infections. Plants contained in Otikon may have side effects.
Due to the high risk of burns, ear candles should not be used to remove wax from ears. There is no evidence to indicate that these candles are safe or effective for treatment of AOM or other ear conditions.

Also, to ease swelling and pain, try applying a warm towel or heating pad (set on a low setting and watched carefully- never fall asleep on a heating pad!) and lying on the heat source infected ear down.

by this I assume u mean ear infection?
I had a pretty severe ear infection when pregnant with my first son. They could only give me mild antibiotics bc I was in the first trimester so my doc told me some alternative things to do:

Get pure apple cider vinegar and put some in your ear, let is et a few minutes, then flip your head over and drain. U can also just put a few drops in each ear and then gently put some cotton in your ear to keep the vinegar in.

This can also be done with colloidal silver. If u take colloidal silver internally, do NOT take more than the recomended dose on bottle and do NOT take if u are pregnant, nursing or are on other medications.

That worked for me very well (I didnt take the silver internally, I used it a few times IN the ear but it drains back out. Its an natural antibiotic.)
Good luck.

If we're talking a small child, just let it runs its course nd give OTC pain meds for intense pain. Most docs are realizing that ear infections can just run their course and we are over using antiobiotics in our children.
