Its hard to say. How long ago was your recovery?

If you were given antibiotics for your infection, they will kill the bacteria in the middle ear, but will not get rid of the fluid -- that takes time to dissipate. It would still give you the impression of fullness and possibly pain in the ear - but the infection would be gone.

If this symptom doesn't go away in a week or so - go see the doctor again - or go see a specialist. Audiology or Otolaryngology.
