How can i unplug my ear? please read more///?

ever since i had a bad cold about 3 months ago my right ear is still having like a plugged up feeling--I went to the doctor about two months ago and he said it was otitis media which means my eusctatian tubes--Behind my eardrum have a bit of fluid in there,, I clean my ears alot --so they are not dirty...
I tryed to plug to nose and blow but it isnt working...
Also could this have anything to do with the hole in my wisdom tooth or the holes in my tonsils? i have had holes in my tonsils for like 10 years that somes times get stuff in them they dont bother me much though,,,,,,,,Help my ear is bothering me although it doesnt hurt--I just cant hear as well.....

I agree that it sounds like fluid behind the eardrum. Did the doctor give you a prescription?

You need to go back and let them know that the problem hasn't resolved, and ask for a referral to an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist.

If your tonsils are inflammed or enlarged, they may be blocking the Eustachian tube, which prevents the middle ear fluid from draining. If you don't treat it, it will likely get worse.

It sounds like you probably still have fluid in your ears. And cleaning them with Q-tips is not going to help, and also bad for your ears. I had to have tubes put in my ears for the same problem, the tubes keep water or fluid from building up in the ear. I really don't think that your tonsils or wisdom tooth have any thing to do with it. But you really shoud go back to your doctor. Good Luck
