What is an heostomy? |
It is an ostomy appliance but I have never heard of this one. I assume it is similar to ileostomy, colonostomy etc but I want to know where this one is situated on the anatomy? I am an RN and I have never heard of that! It's hard to get info on Google too. Heostomy is a type of bowel ostomy ( like an ileostomy and a colostomy ) . I can't seem to find where in the bowel this ostomy is situated. The post that someone said it had something to do with tracheotomies is wrong, btw. |
