How can you tell visually that a tumor/cancer is shrinking? |
My brother's cancer came out of remission 18 months after being treated. He has osteosarcoma. The doctors are saying amputation. My family has been praying and exploring options. In the interim, I put him on a detox diet and high immune defence and veggie diet. The area that was swollen is decreasing in size significantly. Is that a good thing? The only way to tell if the tumor is shrinking is by diagnostic testing using a CT/PET/MRI or other imaging. They will compare the scans with the last scans taken and can usually measure how much it is shrinking or how much it has grown. |
