I WANT osteoporosis?

Yes i want my height o shrink a little, now what can i do to get osteoporosis?

thanx.

Do you mean you want to look like this? Osteoporosis shrinks your height by compressing or fracturing your cervical (neck) vertebrae. This causes kyphosis, or a "Dowager's Hump", and thus makes you shorter. Compressed, crushed, or fractured vertebrae hurt very badly.

This photo is graphic and gross and is not for the squeamish, but it portrays a woman made shorter by osteoporosis.

um. you need help.

No, you don't want that. You can break a bone and seriously get hurt.

Live a lot of yrs an no calcium....or just walk around on yr knees...

You should do a little reading before you ask such questions. Osteoporosis is a serious health problem not a beauty treatment.

You have got to be kidding!!!!!! Be careful what you wish for. Many people, usually women, are diagnosed with osteoporosis later in life. It leads them to break bones when they fall, because the bones are so brittle. Go to a website & read all about osteoporosis. I guarantee you, you will change your mind.

This is by far one of the most idiotic and superficial questions I've seen.

Gods, I can't even believe I'm bothering to explain this!

Osteoporosis is NOT a cosmetic enhancement. You can't just get a little bit of Osteoporosis, then once you hit whatever height you are obsessed with, you can just put the brakes on it.

It ought to make you happy that no matter how much calcium, exercise, and other things that doctors are telling women to begin doing younger and younger will still not totally prevent Osteoporosis. It's going to happen as you get older, and hopefully by then you will realize what an outstanding imbecile you are right now.

Osteoporosis doesn't actually shrink you, btw, it makes you hunch over, curving your spine. So imagine a hump versus you magically shrinking to whatever size you feel is appropriate. It isn't going to make you small and dainty, it's going to hunch you over, make you fragile, give you arthritis and other inflammatory diseases.

Honestly, look for a local Osteoporosis group near you and go to one. LISTEN to them, LOOK at them, but most importantly, don't open your yap unless you want to be pummeled quite righteously by a bunch of canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.

Stoop.

It's too late to have a great effect on things. This is why it's so important to bombard children with things.

I can tell you that Fluoride evicts and takes the place of Calcium in bones,... then this makes the bones brittle later because there is not a proper consistancy (it's like oil and water, they don't really mix properly.)

So you could try increaseing your Fluoride Intake but nowadays that is considered normal *rolls eyes*

Haveing too much Fluoride in your Diet has been linked to Osteporosis and shattering pelvis/hips.

my 7 year old nephew has it and the poor little chap goes through so much pain. i dont know how you can even say such a thing.
