Can somebody recommend me the diet and treatment for osteoporosis? |
I am suffering from osteoporosis I am male my age 28 yrs old I would be very thankfull to you if you recommend diet and treatment for a osteoporosis patient....please help me These bone scan machines are notoriously inaccurate! Why did they do it in the first place? Why would a 28 year old have osteophorosis unless you have some other serious illness! The best treatment for osteophorosis is exercise, and eating a general, balanced diet with milk products and lots of leafy green vegetables and good protein source. Eat bread - it's fine and the people against it are misinformed. Treatment is taking Calcium tablets to increase your daily dosage forever. Drink more milk and products with Calcium. Wow, 28 with ostio? Thats crazy. Never heard of that. Your doc should have told you what to do. If not you need a second opinion. Drink more milk and dairy. Good luck! Wow, that's pretty bad considering your age. Do not listen to the people that advise you to drink more milk. That's the reason my mother has osteoporosis, relying to much on milk. The dairy industries' lobbies are quick to point out a lot of supposed benefits from drinking milk through constant and very persuasive advertising (at least here they do) when all it comes down to is their own interest in profitting. Or do you think it's a coincidence that the countries that consume the most milk are also the countries with more osteoporosis? You need a good diet for strong bones but physical exercise is also imperative. Check out this PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) site and find out all you need to know: |
