What is the Alternative medicine for osteonecrosis rather than transplantation?

I am a patient of osteonecrosis. I am an Ethiopian. The treatment is not available in Ethiopia. I can not get any treatment even which prevents from further damaging of the femoral head. I am suffering with severe pain. I highly need the alternative medication.

I am an Ethiopian. Due to economical status, I can not go to replace the necrosed head of the femur by a metal.Do you have another alternate?

Buy a good life insurance policy and think of the ones you love while filling in the beneficiary.

if your femoral head has gone through osteonecrosis then ...........the only treatment u can go for is replace the necrosed head of the femur by a metal head .......called ostelmoore prosthesis................it works as good as your own head.................................bes... of luck

Are you the father of the patient?
I can deduce from what you said that the disease is called Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease, that affects kids mostly minor than 10 years. Another chance is that you have already suffered the disease and now you are dealing with the consequences.
As far as I know, there is a big discrepancy about the benefits of the treatment when this disease starts. It has better prognosis in younger kids than older ones, and usually the results are varying between very good prognosis without treatment, or very bad with the most aggressive treatments.
What I have seen it might be the best alternative in case of an active disease - kid- is keeping the patient with the legs slightly flexed and opened with an orthopedic sort of bandage. That guides the natural process of healing in the best way and is not considered an alternative medicine but an effective non surgical treatment.
I advice you to get advice from one specialist in Orthopedia.
If this happens to you, then I do not fully understand.
You can obtain very reliable free information in Medscape or just look for the American Academy of Medicine and search for patient's information.
I wish you the best.

physical therapy(restore motion and improve gait), anti-inflammatory drugs(reduce pain and inflammation) and some form of electrical stimulations may help.
