Does anyone have any info on soft, non-moveable knots along shinbone?

For a couple of months, I have had a soft, non-moveable lump, tender to the touch, along the shinbone, below my right knee. There is no discoloration. Recently, I have noticed several along the shinbone on my left leg. They are also tender to the touch. Sometimes, they ache without being touched. There are some non-tender lumps inside my left elbow, also. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and other auto-immune conditions, but I'm not sure they are related. I also have osteonecrosis in both of my knees from large doses of Prednisone needed to save my life several years ago. Should I be worried about these lumps? What kind of tests should be run? Do I need a specialist to check them out? I am not a complainer, but I also know that sometimes, even the seemingly innocuous of symptoms can be important. If you can help, please let me know. My Arthritis doctor seems to be dismissing them, probably because she doesn't think it is in her field. (Sometimes she does that. <G>)
Thanks for replying.

Thanks for replying. I showed my physical therapist and he said it was not located in the right spot for tendonitis. Plus, I have them elsewhere. I know diagnosis here is not possible, just wondering if anyone has any ideas. What kind of doctor would I even see for this?

there should be quite a large one just below your kneecap. this is normal, however if it becomes tender then its possible its inflamed. The condition would be called osgood schlatters disorder. Basically it is just a form of tendonitis. Speak to a Chiropractor or Physical Therapist and they will be able to come up with a treatment plan for you.

dont stress too much.
